Pharmacy context
This is a small community pharmacy located in the centre of Petworth, West Sussex. The pharmacy provides its services mainly to people who either live in the town or in the surrounding rural area. It dispenses people’s prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and offers healthcare advice. It also offers other services such as the NHS Pharmacy First service and a contraception service. And it administers flu vaccinations in the late autumn and early winter seasons.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in September 2017.

What do the summary findings for each principle mean?
The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:
