Pharmacy context

This busy community pharmacy is next to a health centre close to the town centre in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Its main services include dispensing NHS prescriptions, selling over-the-counter medicines and providing advice to people. The pharmacy provides a range of NHS consultation services including Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, contraception services and the New Medicine Service (NMS). It also provides private consultation services including a weight management service and private seasonal vaccinations. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in June 2016.
