Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy which is based in a medical centre in the village of Paulton in Somerset. It serves its local population which is mixed in age range and background. The pharmacy opens six days a week. The pharmacy sells a range of over-the-counter medicines, dispenses NHS prescriptions and supplies medicines to treat minor ailments. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core standards relating to patient safety. Not all of the standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in May 2016.
