Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy located in the same building as a large medical centre. It offers NHS services such as dispensing, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and the Pharmacy First service. And it supplies some medicines under private Patient Group Directions (PGDs) including medicines for weight loss and travel medicines. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people who need this additional support. And these packs are usually dispensed at an off-site hub. The pharmacy also offers a home delivery service. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in November 2015.
