Pharmacy context

This pharmacy is set on a small parade of shops in a residential area of Stanwell. The pharmacy opens six days a week. It dispenses people’s prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and offers health advice. And it also provides a range of other NHS and private services. This was a reinspection following an inspection in October 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.6, 4.2 and 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Overall, the pharmacy has made improvements following feedback from its previous inspection. It no longer provides a prescribing service and now uses patient group directions to deliver its weight-loss and Vitamin B12 services safely. It's introducing written procedures for its hub and spoke dispensing service that its team can follow. It keeps the records it needs to by law. And it stores medicines which require refrigeration properly. But it could do more to make sure people who receive their medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs have all the information they need to take their medicines safely.
