Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located in a village near a parade of shops in Epping, Essex. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people. And it offers some additional NHS services such as Pharmacy First. This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in January 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 2.2, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has enrolled team members onto accredited training courses. It has cleaned all the areas which were dirty and dusty. And it has removed all clutter which was posing a tripping hazard. The pharmacy has cleared its consultation room so it now has a suitable area for confidential conversations if needed.
