Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy located inside a large supermarket in the town of Bishopbriggs. Its mains services are dispensing NHS prescriptions, including serial prescriptions. The pharmacy provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people take their medicines at the right time. And it offers a private influenza vaccination service. Team members sell over-the-counter medicines and provide advice on minor ailments and medicines’ use.
This was a first inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in July of 2024.
