Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located on a small parade of shops in the village of West Moors in East Dorset. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy provides a range of services including NHS Pharmacy First, contraceptive service and a hypertension case-finding service. The pharmacy also provides a flu and COVID-19 vaccination service, a supervised consumption service and a smoking cessation service. The pharmacist also provides a face-to-face weight management service. This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in June 2018.
