Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 05/03/2026
Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is located in a row of shops in South Croydon. It dispenses people’s prescriptions, sells over‐the‐counter medicines and provides health advice. It offers consultations and some medicines through the NHS Pharmacy First service and private Patient Group Directions. And it dispenses some people’s medicines in multi compartment compliance packs to help them manage their medicines. This was a reinspection following an inspection in October 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has made some improvements to its record keeping in relation to patient returned medicines which require documentation on receipt. And it was seen to be documenting near misses, and prescribers’ details for private prescriptions and unlicensed medication records. An audit trail for medicines alerts and recalls had also been put in place.
