Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is located in the centre of the ex-mining village of Lynemouth, Northumberland. Its main services are dispensing NHS prescriptions and providing additional NHS services such as Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks and vaccinations. Team members provide advice on medicines and provide some additional private services, such as for travel and weight loss.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in May 2015.
