Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is situated alongside other local shops in a residential neighbourhood of Bracknell. The pharmacy sells a range of over-the-counter medicines, and it has a busy NHS dispensing service. A home delivery service is available for people who can’t easily get to the pharmacy themselves. The pharmacy supplies some prescription medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help support people to take their medicines safely. It also provides a number of other services including NHS Pharmacy First, vaccination services, and it has recently introduced a weight management service.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in October 2016.
