Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is one of two
independent community pharmacies located in a residential area in Slough. It
has been a family-owned business for many years. In addition to providing NHS
and private dispensing services, the pharmacy provides the Pharmacy First
service, the supervised consumption service and the New Medicines Service. And
it prepares multi-compartment compliance packs for people needing help taking
their medicines.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core
Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on
this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in September 2015.

What do the summary findings for each principle mean?
The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:
