Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located near to a doctor’s surgery in the town centre of Hatfield. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it supplies medicines to some people in multi-compartment compliance packs. The pharmacy offers services such as NHS Pharmacy First and a private travel vaccination service. It also offers a prescription delivery service to those people who cannot get to the pharmacy.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in May 2018.
