Pharmacy context
This is a traditional community pharmacy located in Rochdale. NHS dispensing is the
main activity, and it also provides a number of other NHS services including Pharmacy
First, the New Medicine Service (NMS) and the Covid‐19 booster vaccination service. The pharmacy also provides a private travel vaccination and weight loss service. And it sells a range of over‐the‐counter
medicines.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards
relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The
pharmacy was last inspected in July 2016, it had since changed ownership in July 2023.
