Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in a largely residential area of Hoo. It provides NHS services such as dispensing, the Pharmacy First service, the New Medicine Service. It also offers a contraception service, a seasonal flu service and supplies of doxycycline using patient group directions. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion.
