Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is located on a high street in Highbury, London. It provides NHS services such as dispensing prescriptions, the New Medicine Service (NMS), flu vaccinations and the Pharmacy First service. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to people who need this support to manage their medicines at home.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in September 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.7 and 2.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy had introduced a blind to cover people’s personal information on medicines waiting to be collected and enrolled the unqualified pharmacy team member on an appropriate course.
