Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located next to a medical centre in the city of Ipswich in Suffolk. It provides a variety of services including dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions, the sale of Pharmacy only (P) medicines, the New Medicines Services (NMS), blood pressure checks and the Pharmacy First service under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). This was a reinspection following an inspection in May 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 4.3 and 4.4. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the inspection, the pharmacy has started regularly recording temperatures for all its fridges. And all team members are aware of the process to receive and action safety alerts and recalls of medicines and medical devices.
