Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is in the centre of Eye village, near Peterborough. It changed ownership in the summer of 2024. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions for people who live in the local area. It also provides the NHS Pharmacy First service and offered the seasonal flu vaccination service. It supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support. And it dispenses medicines for people who live in a local care home. It also offers a limited prescription delivery service.

This was a routine inspection which focused on the Standards which most relate to patient safety. Not all Standards were inspected on this occasion.
