Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located on a main road within a parade of shops. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people. It offers the NHS Pharmacy First service and blood pressure check service. And it provides a prescription delivery service to people in the local and surrounding areas who cannot get to the pharmacy. This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in March 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 4.3. This reinspection focused on those standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has taken action to ensure it is now storing all medicine requiring safe custody as per requirements. And medicines requiring cold storage are now being stored at the correct temperatures.
