Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is in a parade of businesses on a busy road on the outskirts of Luton and opposite the Luton & Dunstable Hospital. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions, gives health advice and sells over-the-counter medicines. The pharmacy’s services include prescription delivery, substance misuse, emergency hormonal contraception (EHC), pharmacy first, hypertension case-finding, travel medicines, COVID and flu vaccinations. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people who have difficulty taking their medicines at the right time.
This was a full routine inspection of the pharmacy. The pharmacy was last inspected in May 2016.
