Pharmacy context

This pharmacy is located on a high street in the town of Hendon. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people. And it provides services such as the NHS Pharmacy First service and a private travel vaccination service.

This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in August 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.2 because it did not have valid patient group directions (PGDs) for its private travel vaccination service. This reinspection focused on the standard which had previously not been met. The superintendent pharmacist has since signed and implemented updated PGDs for the pharmacy’s travel vaccination service.
