Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located in a largely residential area in Peterborough. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions, most of which it delivers to people’s homes. It also provides NHS dispensing services to two care homes. The pharmacy offers New Medicine Service checks, the Pharmacy First service, and seasonal flu and Covid-19 booster vaccinations.
This was a routine focused inspection which looked at the premises Standards most related to patient safety. Not all Standards were reviewed on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in 2017.
