Pharmacy context
This is an independent pharmacy located on a busy road, in a parade of shops. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. Other services that the pharmacy offers include the Pharmacy First service, contraception, flu and covid vaccinations, NHS Meningitis vaccination, Hypertension Case Findings service and a delivery service. The pharmacy supplies multi-compartment compliance packs for people in the community who need this additional support. It also provides a private service for a number of conditions via Patient Group Directions (PGDs). This was an intelligence-led inspection of the pharmacy following information received by the GPhC. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2018.
