Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy co-located with a post office based in a shopping precinct in Chester. Most people who use the pharmacy are from the local area and a home delivery service is available. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, and it sells a range of over-the-counter medicines. The pharmacy provides the NHS hypertension service, New Medicine Service (NMS) and the NHS Pharmacy First Service. It also provides the seasonal flu and Covid-19 booster vaccination services. It also offers a private ear wax removal service and weight loss service.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion.

Met The pharmacy has met all the standards for registered pharmacies
Not all met The pharmacy has not met one or more of the standards for registered pharmacies
