Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is located in Tyldesley, near Leigh. NHS dispensing is the main activity, and it also provides some other NHS services including Pharmacy First, Hypertension case finding, the New Medicine Service (NMS), and the seasonal flu vaccination service. The pharmacy also offered a private weight loss and ear micro-suction service. This was a full reinspection following an inspection in May 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 3.1, 4.2 and 4.3. Since the inspection the pharmacy’s other branch had relocated to this premises and its operating model had changed to help meet the failed Standards.
