Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is situated in a parade of shops, in Earlsdon, Coventry. It dispenses prescriptions and sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines. It offers the NHS Pharmacy First Service, New Medicine Service, Hypertension Case Finding service, substance misuse service and seasonal flu and Covid-19 vaccinations. The pharmacy also supplies medicines in multicompartment compliance packs to some people who need assistance in managing their medicines safely. And it offers weight management and travel vaccination services under Patient Group Directions.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards
relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was inspected in 2016, when it was under different ownership.
