Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is situated on a high-street in the village of Great Harwood, Blackburn, Lancashire. The pharmacy’s main services are selling Pharmacy medicines, and dispensing NHS and private prescriptions. Its NHS services include Pharmacy First, hypertension case finding and the New Medicines Service. It dispenses some medicines to people in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicines correctly. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes on request.
This was the first routine inspection of the
pharmacy since it relocated from a nearby premises in May 2024.
