Pharmacy context

This is an independent community pharmacy, located on a main road in the residential area of Drayton on the outskirts of Portsmouth. The pharmacy is open  extended hours : Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm and Saturdays / Sundays 8am- 11pm, providing a range of services – including NHS dispensing (approximately 7,000 items) providing pharmaceutical services for  3 nursing/ residential homes (120 patients in total) together with approximately 40 patients supplied in the community with DDS trays. In addition the pharmacy provides OTC medicines and advice, a seasonal private flu vaccination service, smoking cessation, substance misuse services including supervised consumption , a range of private PGD’s (the most popular being erectile dysfunction , inhalers, EHC and anti malarials), MUR’s, NMS and a collection and delivery service.
