Pharmacy context

A community pharmacy located on a parade of shops on a main road in Reigate.

The pharmacy is open 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday.

The pharmacy dispenses approximately 4,000 prescription items each month.

The pharmacy also provides a range of services including over the counter (OTC) sales of medicines, medicines use reviews (MURs), a new medicines service (NMS), a repeat prescription collection service, a delivery service, patient group directions (PGDs) for erectile dysfunction and malaria prophylaxis, blood pressure (BP) checks, NHS health checks, seasonal influenza vaccinations, monitored dosage system (MDS) dispensing for around 60 community patients and substance misuse treatment for 8 clients.

The pharmacy holds a wholesale distribution authorisation (Human) with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
