Day Lewis Pharmacy (1105698)

Inspection outcome: Standards met

Last inspection: 02/01/2026

Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes

Pharmacy context

This pharmacy is set at the end of a small shopping parade on a main road on the outskirts of East Grinstead. The pharmacy opens six days a week. It dispenses people’s prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and offers health advice. And it provides a range of other NHS and private services.

This was a reinspection following an inspection in October 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Overall, the pharmacy has made improvements following feedback from its previous inspection. It stores medicines that require refrigeration appropriately and at the right temperature. And the pharmacy team knows what it can and can’t do when the responsible pharmacist isn’t at the pharmacy.
