Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is the centre of Farsley, a large town between Leeds and Bradford. The pharmacy’s main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. It provides many people with their medication in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medication correctly. And it delivers to several people. The pharmacy provides other NHS services including, Pharmacy First and the hypertension case finding service. It also provides private services including, travel vaccines and a weight loss service.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2018.
