Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 02/02/2026
Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is situated in Liverpool, Merseyside. It solely dispenses prescriptions for a private healthcare provider who specialises in weight loss services and is CQC registered. The pharmacy delivers medicines to people using courier services. People do not visit the pharmacy to access its services, and the pharmacy does not offer any other services.
This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in November 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.4. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy has updated its risk assessments to ensure it has processes in place to sufficiently mitigate the risks. For example, it now has additional identity checks in place and has updated the checks it completes of peoples’ weight. The pharmacy has also updated its complaints procedure and provided additional training to ensure queries are dealt with appropriately. A new service level agreement is in place which provides clearly defined responsibilities between the pharmacy and the prescribing service when complaints are received.
