Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is in a parade of businesses and nearby residential area in central Oxford. It is near a busy health centre. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions, gives health advice and sells over‐the‐counter medicines. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs for people who find it difficult to take their medicines at the correct time. The pharmacy’s services include substance misuse, needle exchange, take-home naloxone, Pharmacy First, new medicines service, weight loss (NHS), contraceptive service and emergency hormonal contraception, blood pressure case-finding and delivery.
This was a full routine inspection of the pharmacy. The pharmacy was last inspected in March 2018.
