Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is based in Livingston in West Lothian. It provides online prescribing and dispensing services through its website www.cloudpharmacy.co.uk. The pharmacy’s prescribers treat a range of conditions including weight loss and men’s and women’s health. Prescriptions for weight loss medicines are sent to the company’s other pharmacy nearby to be dispensed. And it provides private prescriptions to some third-party pharmacies who dispense and deliver medicines on their behalf. This pharmacy dispenses medicines mainly for conditions such as erectile dysfunction, hair loss and sexual health. And it delivers medicines via courier to people living in the UK. This was a reinspection following an inspection in September 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.6 and 4.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection the pharmacy has updated and implemented new risk assessments and prescribing policies relating to its weight management service and prescribers readily access these when prescribing. The pharmacy has implemented prescriber and service audits which include a review of prescribing practice. Prescribers now record detailed consultation notes which demonstrate ongoing monitoring and include details of any required follow-up consultations. And they independently verify responses provided by people in their online assessment via live image and video call verification.
