Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy in Rothesay, Isle of Bute. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. And the pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people take their medicines at the right times. The pharmacy provides a medicines delivery service and team members offer advice on medicines’ use. The pharmacist provides some private services for example, a weight management service.

This was a routine inspection which focused on the core Standard’s relating to patient safety. Not all Standard’s were inspected on this occasion. The last inspection of the pharmacy was in May 2016.
