Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in the town of Blantyre. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. It provides some people with their medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicines effectively. And it provides a range of NHS services including NHS Pharmacy First and NHS Pharmacy First Plus. It provides a delivery service, taking medicines to people in their homes.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2015.
