Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is a community pharmacy located within a small parade of shops in a residential area in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions and sells medicines over the counter. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs for some people. The pharmacy provides NHS services such as Pharmacy First and the New Medicines service. And it provides a flu vaccination service.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in November 2018.
