Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located in a busy area of west London. It sells over-the-counter medicines, dispenses both NHS and private prescriptions. It offers other NHS services including the Pharmacy First service, blood pressure monitoring and vaccination services. The pharmacy also provides some private services under Patient Group Directions. This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in August 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.2 and 1.6. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the previous inspection, the pharmacy has made several improvements, including updating its Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), strengthening its processes for reporting and reviewing patient safety incidents, and addressing previously identified record-keeping issues.
