Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in central Southampton. The pharmacy dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And its team members sell over‐the‐counter medicines and provide advice. The pharmacy offers services such as the New Medicine Service (NMS), contraceptive service, travel vaccinations, blood pressure testing and Pharmacy First. In addition, the pharmacy team provide multi‐compartment compliance packs for some people who find it difficult to manage their medicines at home and they provide a delivery service. They also provide a weight loss service using a company doctor.
This was the first inspection of the pharmacy since it was registered in August 2024.
