Pharmacy context

The pharmacy is in a suburb of Wakefield and within a building that provides a range of community services including a library. It has an NHS distance selling contract to dispense NHS prescriptions and deliver them to people. The pharmacy supplies multi-compartment compliance packs to help several people take their medicines. And it also provides a private seasonal flu vaccination service. The pharmacy’s website www.bamboopharmacy.co.uk provides people with details of the services offered and how to contact the pharmacy team.
This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it was registered in April 2025.
