Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is situated in a parade of shops in a residential area in the west of Cardiff. It sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines and dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. The pharmacy offers a range of services including provision of emergency hormonal contraception and treatment for minor ailments.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in October 2015.

What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?
When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
