Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in a residential area, close to the centre of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The pharmacy dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. It’s team members sell over‐the‐counter medicines and provide advice. The pharmacy offers a few services such as Pharmacy First and blood pressure testing. In addition, the pharmacy team provide multi‐compartment compliance packs for some people who find it difficult to manage their medicines. This includes people who live at home and in residential care homes.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.4. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has reviewed how it handles drug recalls and kept records showing when these were dealt with.
