Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in a predominantly residential area of Back on the Isle of Lewis. Its main services include dispensing of NHS prescriptions, and it provides medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to help people take them properly. Team members advise on minor ailments and medicines use. This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in September 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has implemented a comprehensive set of standard operating procedures to support its team members when completing pharmacy tasks. And pharmacy team members routinely record dispensing incidents and errors made during the dispensing process.
