Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is located on a busy local high street in West London. The pharmacy mainly dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells medicines over the counter. It also supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who live in their own homes and need this support. The pharmacy has recently changed ownership and the site was no longer CQC-registered.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in June 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.5. This reinspection mainly focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has made improvements. It has introduced new standard operating procedures which team members are familiar with, It has stopped the travel vaccine service, and ensured it has appropriate indemnity insurance for the services it provides.
