Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 23/09/2026
Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
This is an independent pharmacy situated on a main road, in a parade of shops. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. The pharmacy offers the Pharmacy First service, contraception service, Hypertension Case-Finding service and flu vaccinations. It also supplies multi-compartment compliance packs for people in the community who need this additional support. This was a reinspection following an inspection in June 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.6, 3.1 and 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy now maintains organised registers for medicines that require additional record-keeping and secure storage. And these medicines are stored appropriately and securely. The previously missing cover panel on the shop floor shelving unit has now been securely fitted.
