Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is next door to a large health centre in the grounds of Goole and District Hospital. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, including prescriptions issued by several outpatient clinics at the hospital. The pharmacy provides some people with their medication in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medication. The pharmacy provides other NHS services including Pharmacy First, Emergency Contraception and the Hypertension Case Finding Service. It also provides a private weight loss service. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in March 2016. The pharmacy changed ownership in September 2023.
