Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is in the same building as Cowes Medical Centre with its own separate entrance at the rear. It dispenses people's prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and offers healthcare advice. It also provides other services including NHS Pharmacy First and flu vaccinations in the autumn and winter seasons. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in April 2016.
