The pharmacy does not keep a record of medicines that are supplied against private prescriptions. This is a legally required record.

1. Updated SOPs to formally designate the ProScript Private Register as the official POM register for private prescriptions.
2. Corrected PMR labelling so that all private prescriptions are now categorised correctly and an entry is added to the private register.
3. Provided staff training on POM register
requirements and correct PMR coding.
4. Implemented 6 monthly audits to
ensure compliance with POM register
requirements.
5. SI has had one to one training with the training manager at EMIS for all aspects of the ProScript private prescriptions module
