The Staff in the pharmacy have completed the required training for their role. It may have been the case that on the day of the inspection, the certificates were not seen. However they are currently on display in the consultation room wall. There is one member of staff who works in the dispensary. | 2.5 | There is an ineffective whistleblowing policy and process, which has allowed for concerns to be left unaddressed for a long period of time. And when concerns have been raised by members of the team, they have not been suitably acted upon. |
A whistleblowing policy is contained in the employee handbook. However upon review this was found to be inadequate so a new stand alone Whistleblowing policy has been implemented. |
