Cowgate Pharmacy (1041991) - Improvement action plan

The pharmacy does not maintain its records as required by law. It does not maintain a responsible pharmacist record to show who is responsible for the safe and effective running of the pharmacy.

All missing records have been now accounted for. The responsible pharmacist log was accurate until it was misplaced during the refurbishment and has subsequently been located. All records have been updated to reflect legal RP requirements. The responsible pharmacist record will continually be updated on a twice daily basis to reflect when the RP signs in and out. Any periods of absence will be logged on an ad hoc basis.
